About the event
Voices 3 is Suzannah Walter, Mary Heider, & Jeanie Ruhland. This recently formed trio has discovered the rich harmonies of folk, Americana & other genres.
Suzannah Walter began her musical journey at four, singing on the Ottawa area summer church circuit with her mother on the piano. She grew up on the family farm in Grand Ridge, IL, singing her way through grade school and high school and studied vocal performance at Northern Illinois University, moving from Opera to Jazz. Suzannah, a Montessori-trained elementary teacher, has written curriculum-based musicals for schools in Chicago and Joliet. In her free time, she enjoys folk songwriting and performs in local community theater. Suzannah is a member of the OCA Board of Directors and is excited to see the arts expand in the Ottawa area.
